I wanted to share a little bit of news. Today I got an email from the real estate company that let me go asking if I was still actively in real estate. I replied that I maintain my broker’s license, but that I don’t actively sell real estate. They offered me employment with them, but I politely declined. Later, I received another email asking if I wanted to affiliate with them and thus, I could receive a referral fee. Again, I declined. What changed? I have no idea. What I do know; however, is that I don’t want to work for a company who judged me by what a few Clay Aiken fans wrote, emailed, or said and not by my performance.
In other news. Today I learned that Orlando Bloom is living within walking distance from me. He and a few other well-known actors and actresses are filming in the Raleigh-Durham area. He has been out and about at various restaurants and bars off of Glennwood in Raleigh. In fact, this weekend he was out with someone I know!!! No, not someone gay. The guy that I know has a daughter. If I get the opportunity to hang out with him, I’ll be sure to post a few pictures. In the meantime, I just might walk past his door a few times a day.
