This is an interesting video of Clay accepting the 2009 Family Equality Council Award. First thing Clay says as he reaches the podium, “There are some Claymates here somewhere. I don’t know how they got in here”. He continues by saying, “I thought this would be a good place to pick up guys”. Oh my, what would Reed think. Finally, Clay admits that he doesn’t deserve the award. Wow, he’s joined the “hater’s chorus.
