Clay Aiken, If by Chance

Author Maureen Kahl penned this book back in 2005. ‘The Bracelet’ is about “Chance Harrison” a twenty-six-year-old superstar. Here’s the prologue of the book:

Journalist Lauren Miles cannot bear to hear the song Unchained Melody because it is directly connected to the most painful event in her life—that is, until she hears the song delivered in profound beauty by a twenty-six-year-old superstar, Chance Harrison, made famous by his roles on a television pop-music reality show. Instantly, she feels God has brought her to this moment in time for a reason and that Chance Harrison, who openly espouses his own deep faith, is a vehicle to healing her deepest grief.

She sets out to thank him for his beautiful voice with a special charm bracelet she has made from him, not expecting that her journey will change both of their lives forever. The Bracelet eloquently shows the power that music has to awaken hearts, change lives, and capture magical moments in time.

I’m curious if Chance Harrison ditches the bracelet for a webcam.

I bet this author was disappointed.
