2. Speaking of not delivering on promises, President Obama is holding secret meetings with special interest group. Is that promise 1,234 broken?
3. Across the United States, cities are experiencing record cold tempertures not seen in over a hundred years. Gore’s own hometown of Nashville reported the coldest tempertures since 1877. Gore blames the record cold on global warming. Isn’t this the same guy that warned of polar ice caps melting?
4. With the collapse of GM and Chrsyler coupled with widespread corruption, the Detriot School system is on the verge of bankruptcy. Equally disturbing is the crisis in California where they are releasing 27,000 inmates as part of their budget plan. Is this what the Democrats meant when they promised better schools and safer cities?
5. And finally, a glimmer of hope for the economy- Apple reported earnings that beat the analyst estimates for the quarter. That may spell bad news for Apple; however, as now there’s a risk that the government may deem them a monopoly and sue the company in a shake down attempt. Anyone remember what the Clinton Administration did to Microsoft? I’d be careful if I was Apple.
