He said he didn’t really think through what he said on-air last week and how it would affect his co-workers,”  shares one audience member. He also apologized because he realized that people would speculate he was involved with women on the show with whom he had no sexual relationship.

“He made a direct apology to his wife and said: ‘I have a lot of work to do’. “I think he was being sincere,” the audience member said.

A former judge, and Democrat, is facing life in prison after being charged with sexually abusing male inmates in exchange for leniency.

The highly respected circuit judge Herman Thomas, who was once the Democratic Party’s choice to be the first black federal judge in south Alabama, is accused of bringing inmates to his office and spanking them with a paddle.

His trial for charges of sodomy, kidnapping, sex abuse, extortion, assault and ethics violations is scheduled to begin today.

The 48-year-old claims he is innocent and insists he was trying to mentor the inmates.  Should that defense not work he can always use the Democrat back up strategy- racism.
