99 years ago today one of our greatest Presidents was born  in Tampico, Illinois. Ronald Wilson Reagan believed in the greatness of America and of its people. Reagan believed in uniting a nation rather than dividing its people.  He believed that freedom was a God given gift that deserved to be protected and that all of His children should not be held hostage by government.

As our 40th President, he took our nation from the depths of a crippling recession while ending the Cold War.
