Former Vice President Al Gore may have narrated an Oscar-winning documentary on global warming, but he appears to be a little cool toward the camera for a speech in North Carolina.
A Gore aide said Tuesday that media members will only be allowed to record video and audio of the first five minutes of Gore’s talk at Duke University on April 8. Photography will also be limited. Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said the restrictions are standard for his talks but she wouldn’t say why they are in place.
Aren’t these restriction a bit odd for a man who claims that the world will come to an end if something isn’t done about man-made global warming? Like most Progressive Socialist, Al Gore doesn’t like being challenged nor does he like his speeches scrutinized. Perhaps the limitations are in place so that Gore can continue spewing the untruths that he normally delivers in these speeches despite having been told that his “facts” are incorrect.
