Last night was a huge win for Conservatives and a real blow to the liberal left and the socialist Democrats. How can I declare that? Simple. Democrat Senator Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas manage to pull off an upset by defeating Democrat Lt. Governor Bill Halter. Halter was funded with over $10 million from the unions and millions more from liberal groups such as MoveOn.org. The unions and liberal groups also invested thousands of hours or resources and manpower in an attempt to defeat Lincoln. So how did she manage to pull through? The pundits will tell you that Bill Clinton and Barack Obama campaigned for her and that was enough to rescue her. But, remember they also campaigned for Arlen Spector and he still lost.
No, the reason why Blanche Lincoln was able to win the Democrat primary is because she campaigned against the unions which she classified as a “special interest group”. ”I think this race became bigger than me and bigger than Bill Halter,” Lincoln told The Associated Press on Tuesday night. “It became about whether or not the people of Arkansas, who are great people, were going to continue to be hammered by special interest groups that simply wanted to manipulate them and their vote.”
The Democrat voters in Arkansas recognized that unions are destroying the country and did not want to vote for a man who had the full backing and was bought and paid for by the unions. Make no mistake about this this victory had nothing to do with Clinton or Obama’s support and had everything to do with voters not wanting unions to have anymore support.
The voters of Arkansas voted against liberalism and socialism last night and voted for the moderate agenda of Lincoln. Let’s be clear, in November she will lose to Republican John Boozman, because this country has tasted what liberalism has to offer and have decided that they don’t like it. What this country needs are strong conservative women with strong business backgrounds like Carly Fiorina, Meg Whitman, Nikki Haley, and Sharron Angle.
Beware, like they attack Black conservatives, liberal groups will attack these women in an attempt to destroy their character so that they can further perpetuate the lie that the Conservative party is made up of old white racist men. This year, their untruths will be exposed and the American public will see the true face of Conservatives. Conservatives will win if they stand by their conservative principles and campaign against the special interest group that make up the Democrat Socialist Party.
