1. Obama suffered the biggest defeat of his presidency when his budget proposal was rejected 0-97. Yes, you read that right- not one single Senator voted for the President’s budget… not even members of his own party.
2. While teachers are being laid off and/or furloughed, the Obama administration is spending $500 million on an early learning initiative designed to teach 5-year olds to sit still in a kindergarten classroom. Curious to know how much they want to spend on those who are in their teens and still can’t read.
3. Some depressing economic news… we may be heading back into another recession. According to Obama’s Commerce Department, the US economy grew at a stagnant 1.8%. But not too worry, Obama killed Osama.
4. Massachusetts Democrat Barney Frank admits helping his gay lover get a job at Fannie… Fannie Mae that is. Barney Frank was one of many Democrats who opposed the Bush Administration’s call to regulate Fannie Mae.
5. The Obama administration wants black boxes placed in all vehicles by the end of this year. Big Brother continues to get more intrusive.
