When Congresswoman Giffords was shot Liberals didn’t waste any time trying to blame Sarah Palin for the shooting. They claimed that Sarah Palin was responsible for the shooting because she posted a political map which used a target over Giffords’ district. It was long before liberals tried to blame all Republicans for the heated political climate which they claimed helped to instigate the Giffords’ shooting.

It almost seemed comedic to think that liberals would pretend to be innocent. It’s not surprising that they would ignore or conveniently forget how they called for killing the killing of Bush. The vicious attacks they made on Palin. The lies and falsehoods they told about the Tea Party. Of course the media was equally as guilty- refusing to cover the facts of liberal actions.

So we look to today, a month since Obama called for civility to see another example of liberal hypocrisy. Rep. Michael Capuano (D-Mass.) fired up a group of union members in Boston with a speech urging them to work down in the trenches to fend off limits to workers’ rights like those proposed in Wisconsin. Sometimes it’s necessary to get out on the streets and “get a little bloody,” a Massachusetts Democrat said Tuesday in reference to labor battles in Wisconsin.

I wonder if Chris Mathews will take the Congressman to task over these comments.

For Liberals, it must have been a teary goodbye as Keith Olbermann announced that yesterday would be his last broadcast at MSNBC. For Conservatives, it was a night of celebration.

Olbermann, with his often tainted and vicious commentary, has long targeted Republicans, the Tea Party, or any other group who didn’t agree with his warped ideology. His facts, if one could call them that, were often misleading, skewed, or completely false.

Over the years, Olbermann went from a pseudo-journalist to a left leaning commentator. Quickly, he became a hero to and voice of the Left. Liberals looked to him for their “news”. Some called him “brave” and “refreshing”. Others called him “hateful” and “vicious”.

Some would argue that Olbermann single handedly saved MSNBC by transforming it into an outlet for the Left and opening doors for other pompous and vitriolic liberals like Rachel Maddow and Ed Shultz.

Rumors have it that Comcast, who will purchase NBC Universal from GE on Friday, had him pushed out. It’s no secret that GE’s CEO Jeff Immelt, parent of NBC Universal, and Jeff Zucker, President and CEO of NBC Universal, are and have been strong Democrat supporters. Unfortunately for Olbermann and the likes of Maddow, Shultz, Chris Matthews, Brian Williams, etc., Comcast is well known to be a supporter of Conservatives.

There are some who are speculating that Olbermann was just the first to be shown door and other leftwing pseudo-journalist will soon follow. There is speculation that Comcast wants a news division with balanced and accurate reporting- something MSNBC and NBC News lack. If this is true, and there is strong speculation to support this, then the Liberal movement has just been dealt a terrible blow. This will only CNN on the cable side , to slant their news Left. On the broadcast side, ABC and CBS will continue to fight it out for liberal viewers as NBC joins FOX to bring accurate reporting to middle America.

Keith, the party is over- pun intended.

As each day passes, we learn who the real haters are.

In an emotional town hall event to air Sunday morning on “This Week,” anchor Christiane Amanpour gathered together – for the first time since the tragic shooting one week ago – many of those who were in the Safeway parking lot on that fateful day when Rep. Gabriel Giffords, D-AZ, and 18 others were shot….

Towards the end of an otherwise thoughtful town hall, there was a single incident: James Eric Fuller, who was shot at the Safeway last week, allegedly made a threatening comment to another audience member, Tucson Tea Party co-founder Trent Humphries. It is unclear whether Humphries heard Fuller and the two never engaged. According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Fuller used a cell phone to take a picture of Humphries and allegedly said, “You’re dead.”

Fifteen seconds after the conclusion of the town hall, law enforcement officials approached Fuller and led him to a side entrance. A moment later, Fuller could heard yelling, “What’s the matter–with you–whores!” Fuller was charged with disorderly conduct and threatening and intimidation and taken to a local mental health facility, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

It will be interesting to see if Chris Matthews covers this on MSNBC. We know well that had this been a Tea Party member behaving in this manner- it would be on all the major news networks and all the cable shows.

Hey, friends and readers, I apologize for being away and not posting. My ex boyfriend came to visit and I was spending a few days with him and my current boyfriend. It was funny, yesterday the three of us drove to Clay Aiken’s subdivision and checked out all the mansions. I’m sure Clay would have loved to for the three of us to knock on his door. It looks like Clay is trying to hide the view of his house from the street. It looks like landscapers have planted lots of leyland cyprus, Japanese maple, and various other trees and vegetation.

So let’s talk about some other things. Obama’s approval has dropped. Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now disapprove. Those are the lowest ratings yet recorded for this president. The president’s approval rating has held steady in the 46% – 47% range for six months and it remains to be seen whether this new low is merely statistical noise or the start of a lasting change.

Star Magazine reports Al Gore’s split from wife Tipper after 40 years of marriage was a shock to everyone who thought theirs was the ideal marriage. Now Star can exclusively reveal that the former Vice President was having an affair with Larry David’s ex-wife — for the past two years! In the June 28 issue of Star, on sale Wednesday, Star reports that Al and Tipper’s breakup didn’t come as much of a surprise to one Hollywood player — Laurie David. Star has learned that Al has been having an affair with Laurie, who divorced Seinfeld creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David in 2007 amidst reports she was cheating with the caretaker of their Martha’s Vineyard summer home.

While Obama and the Democrats try to regulate the banks and blame them for the failure that was perpetuated by the government, we learn that government managed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could eventually be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange and face the ignominy of trading on the pink sheets after a U.S. government takeover destroyed most of the value of their common stock. Remember, Democrats want the government to run health-care.

So what did people think about Obama’s first oval office address? Let’s read some of the comments by the unbiased and non-racist MSNBC:

Olbermann: “It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days.”

Matthews compared Obama to Carter.

Olbermann: “Nothing specific at all was said.”

Matthews: “No direction.”

Howard Fineman: “He wasn’t specific enough.”

Olbermann: “I don’t think he aimed low, I don’t think he aimed at all. It’s startling.”

Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a “commander-in-chief.”

Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. “I’ll barf if he does it one more time.”

Matthews: “A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk.”

Matthews: “I don’t sense executive command.”

Ouch, that was harsh.

_______________

New York lawmakers have rejected a bill to legalize gay marriage this afternoon.

The Democrat controlled Senate decision Wednesday comes after months of delays and arm twisting of lawmakers sympathetic to the bill. It follows a referendum in Maine earlier this month that struck down a gay marriage law before it took effect.

Advocates say they aren’t surprised by the decision. Most, including Gov. David Paterson, say they at least wanted a floor debate and vote.

Something doesn’t smell right. You would think that the White House would want to cooperate with the investigation of the “party crashers”. Well, think again.

The White House says its social secretary will not testify at a congressional hearing into the security lapse that mistakenly allowed a couple into last week’s state dinner.

Press secretary Robert Gibbs said Wednesday that Desiree Rogers will not testify before the House Homeland Security Committee. The panel has scheduled a hearing Thursday and Rogers had been invited to testify. Gibbs cited the separation of powers and a history of White House staff not testifying before Congress.

Liberal host Chris Mathews referred to West Point, home of our brave future officers, as “enemy camp”. I guess Mathews would believe that anyone who volunteers to defend the Constitution and fight for freedom and democracy would be the enemy.
