Parker Griffith to announce he’s becoming a Republican
Dec 22nd, 2009 by John Paulus

The Democrat Party loses one of its members as Rep. Parker Griffith, a freshman Democrat from Alabama, will announce today that he’s switching parties to become a Republican.  Whispers are that more Democrats are thinking of jumping ship as their party turns more liberal.

According to two senior GOP aides familiar with the decision, the announcement will take place this afternoon in Griffith’s district in northern Alabama.  Expect Democrats to attack the character of Griffith.

Griffith’s party switch comes on the eve of a pivotal congressional health care vote and will send shivers through a Democratic House Caucus that has already been nervous by the recent retirements of a handful of members who, like Griffith, hail from districts that offer prime pickup opportunities for the GOP in 2010.

No surprise, it was an Obama supporter

Walmart

Should I really be surprised that this is today’s society?  Tonight, I was exiting the new Walmart here in Morrisville, North Carolina and as I was approaching the automatic doors I could hear this loud rap music filling the air.  It was coming from a Nissan Altima with tinted windows and these rims that spun while the car was stationary.  And stationary the car was– right in front of the entrance/exit to the Walmart.  People had to go around the vehicle to enter or exit the store.  Why was it parked there?  Well, this man with his wife with the biggest booty I’ve ever seen on a woman were putting their purchases in the trunk of the car.  I guess moving up about 15 feet away from the entrance to the Walmart would have required too much effort.  But it doesn’t end there.  Yes, the music was extremely loud– ear busting loud, but the filthy language that was being rapped about was just vile.  Listen, I don’t have an issue with those who want to listen about “b*tches suckin’ my d*ck for my riches”, but is it necessary to subject those who shop at Walmart to it?  I mean, come one, there were parents there with there children.  Not only was it rude, but it was disrespectful.

I, along with everyone else, negotiated our shopping carts around this couple’s vehicle as they unloaded their shopping cart.  As I got to the back of their car, I could plainly see the Obama sticker with the infamous “change” written through the middle.  No surprise there.   After all, people like these two have no problem inconveniencing everyone else as long as it makes their lives easier.  That’s how Obama supporters think– you work hard and let us take the easy road.  As I approached my car I could hear the music get less loud.  I turned to look to see them drive off– and leave the empty shopping cart sitting in front of the entrance of the Walmart, on the edge of the sidewalk and street.  I guess it was too much of an effort to walk literally less than 15 feet and put the shopping cart with all the others. How d*mn lazy can you be!!!  Change has certainly come- change in the respect of others.
