In the news…

1. The hypocrisy continues with this administration and the Democrat Party… Jeffrey Zients will serve as President Obama’s new acting director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Zients and Romney are both alumni of Bain & Company and that connection may undercut Obama’s attacks on his potential Republican rival.

2. The race war is being revved up by the left in order to get blacks to the polls in November. For example, MSNBC guest Joy-Ann Reid, who writes for NBCUniversal-owned website theGrio.com, suggested that Mitt Romney was racist for helping a struggling African American woman he met while on the campaign-trail by giving her money from his own wallet. ”It galls me,” Reid started. “I don’t even like to watch it. I felt like it plays into every sort of patronizing stereotype of black people. Oh, here’s this little lady, let me give her 50 bucks.”

3. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday launched political grenades at Mitt Romney, arguing that Republicans haven’t coalesced behind the GOP frontrunner because they don’t believe he can beat President Barack Obama in November. That’s interesting… Perhaps, the Minority Leader forgot the 2008 Democrat Primary in which Hillary Clinton did not concede until June 7th- nearly 5 months from where we are today. In fact, on the heels of his caucus win in Iowa, Obama lost to Hillary in New Hampshire. Obama only garnered 36% of the vote compared to Mitt Romney who won 39% in New Hampshire. To make matters worse, Obama wasn’t qualified to participate in the Michigan Primary and lost the Florida Primary by 17 points managing to only get 33% of the vote.

It’s obvious that Pelosi and nimble minded liberal like her would forget the results of their own primary… or do they think that we are so ignorant not to recognize that this is a failed attempt to make Mitt Romney appear to be a weak candidate. Either way, it’s a failure on her/their part.

An interesting story today by Michael Goodwin in the New York Post. According to Goodwin, he has heard from several people that Obama is becoming more reclusive. Here are some of the highlights:

President Obama has become a lone wolf, a stranger to his own government. He talks mostly, and sometimes only, to friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett and to David Axelrod, his political strategist.

Everybody else, including members of his Cabinet, have little face time with him except for brief meetings that serve as photo ops. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner both have complained, according to people who have talked to them, that they are shut out of important decisions.

The Obama’s workdays are said to end early, often at 4 p.m.

Obama often retreats to his private study with briefing papers, however, some say they’re not sure what he does.

An article in the Washington Post today more or less confirms the story by the New York Post.

This president endures with little joy the small talk and back-slapping of retail politics, rarely spends more than a few minutes on a rope line, refuses to coddle even his biggest donors. His relationship with Democrats on Capitol Hill is frosty, to be generous. Personal lobbying on behalf of legislation? He prefers to leave that to Vice President Biden, an old-school political charmer.

If you want my opinion, Obama has finally realized that his been lied to for the last 32 years. Everything that he has been told and taught about Keynesian economics, Socialism, and Liberalism was wrong. After nearly three years as President, he realized that those socialized programs don’t work. Everything that he’s been taught and told about the economy hasn’t worked and he recognizes that he’s wasted so many years supporting a lie. Further, Obama is such an egomaniac that it bothers him deeply now that members of his own party are running away from him.

It is sad to see such a precipitous decline of support and popularity, perhaps the greatest in US history, for a man who so many thought could do so much. Fortunately, in just 15 months there will be a Republican President who will fix what Obama and his liberal ideology failed to.

Due to Obama’s declining poll numbers, Democrat tongues loosened by cocktails at parties are quietly suggesting, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could primary Obama out with Hillary? Darn it, we can’t because Obama is black!”

I say, “Hallelujah — a perfect example of divine justice.” They who live by the race card die by the race card.

Almost three years ago, the Democrats offered their equivalent of a Trojan Horse to America in the form of a shiny, new, extremely well-crafted, beautiful black man. Its mega-internal speakers broadcast a hypnotic message, heavily reverbed to create a godlike effect and looped 24/7, promising “Hope and Change.”

A “perfect storm” of circumstances led to America’s enthusiastic embrace of the Democrats’ ebony idol Trojan Horse: white guilt, black racism, and perhaps even the popularity of the American Idol TV show. Obama was the first “rock star” American Ebony Idol presidential candidate.

Democrats were elated by their good fortune.

Obama would be the key to implementing all of their liberal-academia, utopia-producing theories, his black skin insulating him from any and all opposition. Oppose Obama? You’re racist!

The Democrats keep their R-for-racist branding iron red-hot and ready to apply swift retribution to any feisty, uppity conservative or Republican who dares challenge Obama.

Basking in their tactical genius, Democrats thought, “We did it! We pulled off the perfect exploitation of race to implement our socialistic agenda; a liberal black man in the White House.” Someone at the DNC even broke out their old Commodores record as they partied: “Ce-le-brate good times, C’MON!”

As America slept, one night under the cover of darkness, a hidden door in the ebony idol opened; out rushed an army of vicious liberal minions, freedom-killing mandates, and socialistic policies. Their mission: destroy our capitalist system and massacre America as we know it.

Totally unexpected and to the horror of the Democrats, We The People rose up. Patriots, via divine inspiration, formed the Tea Party. Patriot freedom-fighters began winning skirmishes around the country — governorships in New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida — and defeating the tyrannous teachers’ union in Wisconsin, to name a few. We took the House. We will take the Senate and are predicted to take the White House in 2012.

The Democrats’ ebony idol, their so-called gift to America, has been exposed for the fraud it truly is — a hollow, soulless shell of empty liberal ideology, its internal recorded message malfunctioning and distorted, stuck repeating the phrase, “I blame…I blame…I blame…”

Seeing the handwriting on the wall via polling, the Dems wish they could abandon their disastrous ebony race card for Hillary, their gender card.

But alas, they cannot. After spending the last three years, assisted by their media minions, convincing Americans that any and all criticism of or opposition to Obama is racist, Democrats find themselves victims of their own trap. Fearing the repercussions, Dems do not dare display the slightest abandonment of Obama. I love it! They who live by the race card die by the race card.

Despite the media’s relentless attempts to brand us otherwise, the Tea Party has never been about race. Our focus and sole desire have been to uphold the Constitution and restore our freedom, liberty, and culture. The Tea Party’s goals are much higher than the Democrats’ bottom-feeding agenda of exploiting race for political gain. This is why it is so sweet that they are stuck with their loser black candidate.

You leftists, do not try to spin my comment as being racist. I, along with millions of my white Tea Party brothers and sisters, would gladly cast a presidential vote for blacks such as Herman Cain and Col. Allen West in a heartbeat. So don’t even go there.

Ironically, the Democrats who claim ownership of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. shamefully dishonor his dream. The Tea Party, vilified by the Democrats, fully embraces MLK’s dream by judging and selecting their candidates by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. Thus, the Tea Party, much-hated by Democrats, is the realization of MLK’s dream. And for the record, MLK was a Republican.

The Democrats played the ultimate race card — an incompetent affirmative-action president, and now they are stuck with him. The faux finish on their once-shiny ebony idol is rapidly deteriorating, peeling off daily. Come 2012, Obama is a sure loser. “Ce-le-brate good times, C’MON!”

Democrats doubt Barack Obama’s reelection chances: President Barack Obama is facing mounting doubts within his own party about his re-election prospects, with fellow Democrats beginning to ask if Hillary Clinton...

Democrats doubt Barack Obama’s reelection chances:

President Barack Obama is facing mounting doubts within his own party about his re-election prospects, with fellow Democrats beginning to ask if Hillary Clinton would have made a better president.

Mr Obama’s capitulation to Republicans in the recent tussle over deficit reduction is being seen as the lowest point of his presidency and the latest in a series of blows to the liberal agenda.

Faced with the staunch opposition of the Tea Party contingent of the Republican Party, he agreed to widespread cuts in government spending without winning any revenue increases in exchange.

Finding it hard to defend his often listless and repetitive performances, Democratic strategists and commentators are privately agreeing with Republicans and comparing Mr Obama to Jimmy Carter, another Democrat who remains the post-war benchmark for a failed president.

“He is a do-gooder at heart,” said Morris Reid, a Washington consultant and former Clinton official. “He thinks everyone has the same agenda to do the right thing, but other people don’t have the same agenda. Their agenda is to score points and get their party re-elected.

“This is the downside of him not being terribly political like Bill Clinton was. Bill Clinton woke up every day relishing this kind of fight, and Hillary is just a tougher person. The Clintons are much more combative, they are always ready to go to Defcon 1 (‘war is imminent’ state).”

Mr Reid added that the president remained a formidable campaigner and fund-raiser and should not be ruled out of the fight in 2012. But he said some Democrats were feeling “buyer’s remorse” for selecting the president in his epic battle with Mrs Clinton for the 2008 Democratic nomination.

“The notion everyone is talking about is ‘is he Jimmy Carter or will he be a one-term president’,” he said.

Gary Pearce, a Democratic strategist in North Carolina, a swing state Mr Obama is likely to struggle to retain in 2012, said: “Democrats are worried. He looks weak, he doesn’t say anything that grabs you, and people are looking for some kind of magic.”

He said some activists were asking “do we need someone tougher to fight the tea party?” “You see a yearning for a Bill Clinton-type approach and Hillary would reflect that. Obama is just a different political animal, he is a low-key guy,” he added.

Mr Obama’s approval rating has fallen dramatically since the killing of Osama bin Laden in early May, and he has failed to outline a vision for how he will improve chronic unemployment and a housing market in which one if five mortgage holders are in negative equity.

A 2012 primary challenge by Mrs Clinton is currently regarded as unlikely, but growing number of party activists and old hands are hoping that she changes her mind.

On his nightly television show, liberal host Bill Maher dismissed Mr Obama as a Republican, and asked his panel if Mrs Clinton would have made a better president.

“Yes,” replied astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, an African American astrophysicist and broadcaster, adding that the Secretary of State would have been “a more effective negotiator in the halls of Congress”.

An article in the New York Times by Drew Westen, a professor of psychology at Emory University and a specialist in political messaging, summarised the dismay at Mr Obama’s performance and was rapidly circulated online by liberals.

“Those of us who were bewitched by his eloquence on the campaign trail chose to ignore some disquieting aspects of his biography: that he had accomplished very little before he ran for president,” he wrote.

Oprah Winfrey‘s daytime talk show is over, but her adulation for President Obama is far from it.

Winfrey is “happy to be of service” for Obama’s reelection campaign, she said in a statement Wednesday. “I supported Barack Obama in 2008 because I believed then as I do now that he is the right man for the job,” she said.

Back in ‘08, Winfrey’s backing of Obama helped him bring down the most well-known well-oiled campaign machine: Bill and Hillary Clinton. When she first interviewed Obama in a 2004 issue of her magazine “O,” the queen of daytime said, “[W]hen I decided to talk with you (Obama), people around me were like, ‘What’s happened to you?’ I said, ‘I think this is beyond and above politics.’ It feels like something new.”

This time, Winfrey will have to acknowledge more than “something new;” she‘ll have to talk about Obama’s record. And with unemployment teetering around 9 percent and the president’s approval rating hitting new lows, energizing voters (white working-class women in particular) will likely be a bigger struggle than it was in ‘08.

If you haven’t already read the article in the LA Times by John Phillips, you must. It’s titled, ‘Why Hillary Clinton Must Run In 2012′.

If Hillary Clinton’s primary voters and President Obama had their relationship status listed on their Facebook pages, it would change from “Married” to “It’s complicated.”

To be fair, Hillary voters never fell in love with Obama, they just fell in line. Their relationship is less like a Julia Roberts chick flick and more like a Bengali arranged marriage.

Because of their arrangement, Hillary-loving Obama voters are quick to jump ship whenever Mr. Hope-and-Change looks like he’s getting played again by his political opponents, is in over his head or is dissing their girl.

Despite Obama’s anti-climactic campaign announcement just now, according to all the recent polls, Hillary voters aren’t only jumping ship –- they’re taking their fins, snorkels and pina coladas with them.

A new Quinnipiac University poll shows President Obama’s approval rating at….

…a pathetic 42% –- down four points from early March. The American public isn’t impressed with his handling of the crisis in Libya either -– with 47% of the public against the war and 58% of registered voters saying the president has not clearly stated U.S. goals for the mission.

These numbers are bad –- really bad –- CNN prime time ratings bad.To put them into context, according to Gallup, 76% of Americans supported military action against Iraq in 2003, 90% gave the A-OK for strikes against Afghanistan in 2001, and 65% approved of putting boots on the ground in Somalia in 1993.

It’s also important to state that this isn’t part of a “throw all the bums out” mood directed at Washington.

The approval numbers for Hillary are nearing an all-time high –- with Gallup showing 66% of Americans giving “Hill the Thrill” a big thumbs up –- up from 61% in July.

This leads to the questions: Why are one out of three Hillary lovers giving Obama bad marks? Will they stick with him in November 2012?

And, most importantly, if she senses enough blood in the water, will Hillary quit the administration and launch a primary bid against Obama?

Hill-rage at Obama

Hillary Clinton’s big selling point during the 2008 Democratic primaries was that she was an experienced hand who’s been around the block a few times…not like how her husband has been around the block…but, you get the point.

Then-Sen. Clinton’s “3 AM Phone Call” ad drove that point home. The 30-second TV spot raised the possibility of a future world crisis and asked voters who they would want in the White House making the big decisions if all hell broke loose.

Hillary voters ate it up with a spoon –- deciding that an awakened and enraged Clinton with cold cream on her face and curlers in her hair is far scarier to third-world despots than an ex-Illinois state senator.

The military action in Libya is Team Hillary’s ‘I told you so’ moment…with Hillary serving as the realistic, aggressive war hawk and Obama being a not-ready-for-prime-time waffler.

This frustration was expressed by a Clinton insider in the British newspaper The Daily, who said, “Obviously, she’s not happy with dealing with a president who can’t decide if today is Tuesday or Wednesday, who can’t make his mind up…it’s like playing sports with a bunch of amateurs. And she doesn’t have any power. She’s trying to do what she can to keep things from imploding.”

This may not be a vote of no confidence…but at a minimum, it’s voting ‘present.’

Hill today, gone tomorrow

Hillary voters weren’t swooned by Obama in the 2008 Democratic primaries and many are abandoning him in public opinion surveys today. But are they mad enough to ride the elephant in 2012?

Get out the saddle, because that’s exactly what they did in 2010.

Meanwhile, the Democrats strengthened their hand in places that went heavily for Obama in 2008 –- with pickups in Hawaii, Delaware and the MSNBC prime-time lineup.

The lesson: Hillary voters aren’t only willing to pull the plug on their fellow Democrats -– they’re willing to yank it like they’re starting a lawn mower.

What the Hill? Hillary in 2012?

While it’s true the Clintons are ambitious people, they’ve never been known to go on suicide missions -– those are for terrorists and hotel chains willing to rent rooms to Charlie Sheen.

Despite her contemporary denials, Hillary would only throw her hat in the ring if she thought she had a better than even chance at moving back into the White House. Obama is looking weak, but not weak enough to justify a primary challenge…yet.

If Libya turns into a full blown disaster…resulting in billions of dollars wasted, boots on the ground and abysmal public opinion numbers, my money is on Hillary resigning her post as secretary of State and jumping in the 2012 primary.

She can even rerun the “3 AM Phone Call” ad…with the tagline ‘See, I told you so.’

Hillary Clinton 2012- that’s the Hope and Change many Democrats in America are wishing for.

Have any of you been surprised by the virtual silence and tepid response that Obama has had towards Gaddafi? Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is said to be frustrated, angry, and perplexed by Obama’s indecision and lack of leadership on the issue of Libya. Our allies France, Great Britain, Italy, and Germany are confused as to why Obama had refused to show any leadership or why it took so long to support a French and British no-fly proposal at the UN.

Those who believe that Obama’s indecision and lack of decisiveness are the reasons for his lack of actions are wrong. It is true that Obama is in over his head with a lot of issues and has difficulty with leadership, but not in this case.

Muammar Gaddafi has a special relationship with Obama’s former pastor and spiritual advisor Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan. Reverend Wright accompanied the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to Tripoli to visit the brutal Gaddafi. Reverend Wright described the trip as a “social visit”.

For nearly 25 year Gaddafi has financed and strongly supported the Nation of Islam and its leader Louis Farrakhan. With the ousting of Gaddafi that financial backing would surely dry up.

Back during the 2008 presidential campaign, Wright himself noted the trip could be problematic for Obama.

“When (Obama) enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli to visit (Gaddafi) with Farrakhan, a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell,”

Farrakhan, a close friend of Wright, received a $5 million interest-free loan in 1985.

Later that year, Gaddafi spoke by satellite to Farrakhan’s Saviour’s Day Convention in Chicago, and told Farrakhan supporters he was prepared to provide weapons to a black army in the U.S. to destroy “white America.”

In October 1995, Gaddafi was said to have called Farrakhan with congratulations on the success of the Million Man March. Gaddafi reportedly assured Farrakhan that together “we will unite our capabilities and efforts to achieve this.”

According to reports in 1996 from Libya’s news agency, JANA, Farrakhan and Gadhafi agreed to work together to mobilize “oppressed blacks, Arabs, Muslims and Red Indians” to help reshape U.S. foreign policy (Sound familiar).

Farrakhan went to Libya for multiple other events. He was the recipient in 1996 of the Gadhafi Human Rights Award, which came with a $250,000 prize. despite U.S. sanctions on Libya, Farrakhan accepted the cash.

Obama has many ties with Farrakhan. For example:

Rev. Willie Barrow, a member of the Obama campaign’s official Faith Outreach Team and an Obama superdelegate, is a close friend of Farrakhan’s and a staunch Nation of Islam supporter. Farrakhan stated in a 2002 interview he met with Barrow to devise his Nation of Islam platforms.

Marxist activist Cornel West, an adviser to Farrakhan, also had been an adviser to Obama’s 2008 campaign and is a close Obama associate and personal friend. During the period of Obama’s attendance at Wright’s Trinity United Church, which practices controversial Black Liberation Theology ideology, the Chicago church was openly allied with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.

Wright gave Farrakhan his 2007 Empowerment Award. Farrakhan delivered multiple guest lectures at the church. Wright has been involved in Farrakhan initiatives and labeled him “one of the most important voices in the 20th and 21st century” during a national address to the media in April at which Nation of Islam officials were invited guests.

Obama has appeared at least three times on the cover of Trumpet magazine, founded by Wright. The magazine, to which Obama last year granted a lengthy, exclusive interview, regularly hails Farrakhan. Obama’s face was featured on the cover of a 2006 issue of Trumpet alongside Farrakhan’s image.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, a 2004 photo emerged of Obama’s wife, Michelle, posing with Farrakhan and Obama adviser Barrow at a woman’s luncheon for the Rainbow/Push Coalition for which Barrow serves as chairman emeritus. In the picture with Michelle Obama is Khadijah Farrakhan, Louis Farrakhan’s wife.

Another Obama connection to supporters of Farrakhan comes from David Axelrod, Obama’s chief political strategist. Although he is Jewish, Axelrod sits on the finance committee of St. Sabina, the Chicago Catholic parish that was led by controversial pastor Michael Pfleger, an outspoken Farrakhan supporter who hosted the Nation of Islam chief at his parish several times.

There is no reason for our allies to be confused or for Hillary Clinton to be perplexed as to why Obama has dragged his feet in supporting a no-fly zone or why it took him so long to make a decision- he true allegiance isn’t to democracy or American interests, it’s to his allies in the Muslim Brotherhood and his friends in Chicago. Can the evidence be any more clear?

Do you remember candidate Obama, the guy who said he would sit down and negotiate with Iran- pursue a diplomatic approach with the nefarious regime? How, through his leadership, he’d bring together UN Security Council members to impose sanctions that would force Iran to halt their nuclear ambitions? Well, after 13 months of lost time and wasted efforts it appears that the Obama administration is about to adopt the same Bush policies Obama campaigned against.

As the apprentice President continues to discover, you can’t negotiate with terrorist or terrorist regimes. Regardless of how many times you apologize or placate those with a radical ideology, it will not alter their determination to destroy you. Regardless of whether you try terrorist in military court or in civilian courts, you will not earn their respect. Perhaps the apprentice President has finally learned a lesson from a seasoned President, and that lesson is that it’s his duty to protect and defend this country even if he means you won’t be personally loved.

From the Guardian:

Hillary Clinton’s sudden volley of shots at Iran marks the end of an engagement policy that never really began. She wants to convince the world that the regime in Tehran is opposed to serious talks with the west. That may be true, but we’ll probably never know because in fact, no one has offered such talks.

In laying out the American approach to Iran, Clinton showed how little US foreign policy has changed since the last years of the Bush administration. President Bush famously explained that he would not negotiate with unfriendly regimes because he didn’t want to “reward bad behaviour”. He wanted states like Iran to change of their own accord, not as a result of negotiation but as a pre-condition for being allowed to negotiate.

Clinton embraces this same idea. She rejects the view that as Iran becomes more threatening and approaches nuclear breakout capacity, diplomatic engagement becomes more urgent. Instead she takes the opposite view. “We don’t want to be engaging while they are building their bomb,” she said this week.

1. Epic snow across the East Coast forces Obama and Nancy Pelosi to cut short their global warming trip to Copenhagen yesterday, while in the South of France snow fell along the beaches.

2. In an explosive book set to be released, author Ken Gromley reveals that prosecutors were prepared to indict Bill and Hillary Clinton for their roles in the Whitewater Scandal. “Yet the consensus was that any effort to prosecute Mrs. Clinton would be extremely risky,” Gormley wrote. Prosecutors believed that “getting an Arkansas or a Washington grand jury to indict the First Lady seemed like a long shot.” Starr prosecutors instead decided to focus efforts on charges against the former president, the book says.

3. TMZ is reporting that Liberal Maria Shriver feels that the laws don’t apply to people like her; talking on the cell phone, rolling through stop signs, parking in red zones- read more about it here.

4. There may be no dancing his way out of this one. ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ choreographer Shane Sparks was arrested yesterday on 8 charges related to lews conduct with a child. You can read the arrest warrant here.

5. Men’s Health did a study of the absolute worst fast-food burger in the world coming in at 1,450 calories and 84 grams of fat. Hint, it wasn’t the Big Mac. Read the list after the jump.

Do you recall the outrage that was Abu Ghraib? For those who might have forgotten, Abu Ghraib was a prison in Baghdad where some recalcitrant soldiers threatened prisoners with dogs, placed hoods over their heads, and had them pose in lewd positions. The media and the Democrats were outraged and immediately branded these acts as torture. Some Democrat leaders called for the resignation of Defense Secretary Rumsfeld.

Fast forward to August 2009 and CBS is reporting that contract guards at the embassy in Afghanistan were filmed urinating on other guards, made to perform lewd acts, photographed naked, etc. as part of an indoctrination. The report goes on to say that there was a “climate of fear and coercion”. CBS was quick to point out that this was “hazing”. That’s the word they use under a Democrat administration. Despite the obvious lack of leadership, there have been no calls for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to resign.

And the news gets worse. According to “Project on Government Oversight”, prostitution, boozing, and other deviate behavior has been on full display at the embassy and quarters of these guards. New male guards were made to perform sexual acts on male supervisors in order to get promotions or better shifts. These were the very guards whose role is to protect the embassy in war-torn Afghanistan.

Had these events been conducted under the Bush administration, have no doubt that the Democrats would be calling for the immediate resignation of Secretary Rice, and the photos would have been shown on every media outlet around the world.

Obama insisted that his administration would “change the image of America in the world”, and thus far, he’s definitely kept his promise. Unfortunately, for the rest of us, I don’t believe this is the image we expected to have projected. Video ——- Report send to Sec.
