1.  Newt Gingrich may have just sealed up the 2012 election today with Democrat voters if he can win the Republican nomination.  Democrats, who for years have called Republicans “sexual uptight”, may have to amend that thought. It is rumored that ABC will report that the former House Speaker wanted to be a swinger and asked his former wife for an open relationship according to the Speaker’s ex-wife.

2.  VP Joe Biden continues to put the Dan Quayle “potato(e)” flub to shame.  Speaking to a San Francisco, the Vice President told the fund raising crows, “the Giants are on their way to the Super Bowl.”  San Francisco is home of the 49ers.

3.  Democrats are disputing Republican claims that the 1,700 mile Keystone Pipeline project rejected by Obama will cost the economy 22,000 jobs.  Interestingly, Democrats projected that the 1.7 mile San Francisco subway extension would created 43,000 jobs.  Only in liberal America would it take 43,000 union workers to complete 1.7 miles of subway.

4.  Gas prices to continue to soar and have doubled since the 2008 election wiping out any savings Americans saw with the Obama extension of the Bush tax cuts. Obama authorize the release of oil from the nation’s strategic petroleum reserve despite warnings from Republicans who rightly claimed that the failed decision would not bring down prices at the pump.

5. David Rubenstein, the co-founder of one of America’s largest private equity firm, has donated $7.5 million to restore the Washington Monument after an earthquake damaged the national icon.   Meanwhile, wealthy Democrats have donated nearly $126 million to 2012 Obama and the Democrat election while receiving an estimated $10.7 billion in stimulus money.

Do you recall back when the S&P lowered the credit rating of the United States liberals ignored the very reason why and quickly promoted the idea that Republican unwillingness to raise taxes was to blame?  Of course, fair-minded and sensible folks knew the reason had to do with the government’s appetite for spending.

Today, the S&P lowered the credit rating of several European countries- all of which have socialist and liberal governments.  The reason for the downgrade?  Well, it certainly wouldn’t be the fault of a Republican controlled Congress… it has everything to do with social spending.  They are spending more than they are taking in.  It’s borrowing.  It’s governments  creating a dependent society that can no longer afford to adequately fund the basic functions of governments.

Things have gotten so bad in Greece, for example, that children are being abandoned on the streets, because parents can no longer afford to care for them.  Greece, mind you, one of the most socialist societies in Europe- a country in which many retire at 55.  Greece, where the unemployment rate sits at nearly 19%. Greece, where the debt is 127% of GDP.  The US is fast approaching that level as our debt is 101% of GDP.

One might ask why Greece and those European nations that received downgrades just don’t tax the rich more- isn’t that the answer that liberals like to give.  After all, taxing the rich seems to be the panacea for fixing everything, right?  Well, the income tax for those making $145,000 a year is 40%.  The value added tax most goods purchased is 23%.  Regional income tax, we would call them state income tax, for those making more than $100,000 ranges from 6%-12%.  Amazingly, with well over 50% in taxes on the rich, which doesn’t take into account property taxes, sales (VAT), and other assessments, Greece is running a deficit.  How is this possible?  I thought taxing the rich would solve problems like this?

The problem with Greece, and most of the rest of Europe, is that they’ve created a dependent society.  It’s a society in which liberals continue to make more and more promises and pinning rich against poor, as a tool to get elected with no regard for the betterment of the country.

Greece is the crystal ball into America’s future.

I’m alive and well.  I needed to take some time off from politics- the environment that liberals have created has just sickened me.  I watch the way liberals and their sycophants in the media unfairly attack Republicans and mislead the American people and it makes me angry.  Do these people really care about America or is it, as I have always thought, a quest for more political power?

Let’s look at some information that we may not find in the news:

- During her tenure as speaker of the House, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi invited investment banker William Hambrecht to participate in multiple economic meetings with her party’s leadership without revealing her extensive personal and financial relationship with him.

According to Roll Call, which reported this story, Pelosi never disclose her relationship with Hambrecht.

The links between Hambrecht and Pelosi are a matter of public record, the paper reports. Hambrecht was Pelosi’s son’s boss between July 2009 and September 2011. Pelosi’s husband, Paul, has holdings in a half-dozen companies linked to Hambrecht. The Pelosis purchased a team in Hambrecht’s nascent United Football League for $12 million in 2009, just days before the then-speaker invited Hambrecht to participate in an economic forum and press conference.

Today the Democrat Party demonstrated a low not witnessed since false allegations were thrown at Clarence Thomas.  “Runaway Slave” Herman Cain was confronted with a hit piece in Politico over the weekend charging that he sexual harassed two women while at the National Restaurant Association.

When questioned today about the allegations Cain responded: I have never sexually harassed anyone, let’s say that. Secondly, I’ve never sexually harassed anyone, and yes, I was falsely accused while I was at the National Restaurant Association, and I say falsely, because it turned out, after the investigation, to be baseless. The people mentioned in that article were the ones who would be aware of any misdoings, and they have attested to my integrity and my character. It is totally baseless, and totally false, never have I committed any sort of sexual harassment.

Politico claims that the National Restaurant Association settle the case with a 5-figured payout.  In the article, Politico cited unnamed sources.  In response to the settlement, Cain said: If the restaurant association did a settlement, I am not — i wasn’t even aware of it and I hope it wasn’t for much, because nothing happened. So if there was a settlement, it was handled by some of the other officers that worked for me at the association. So the answer is absolutely not.

The media’s response to these baseless and false allegations should be examined.  Is this how the media would respond if similar charges were directed at Obama or would they, as I suspect, circle the wagons and destroy the women who claimed they were harassed.  One only needs to look to Jennifer Flowers and Paula Jones for the answer- those women were dragged through the mud and called whores by the left.

If Herman Cain did harass these women then the media should present all the facts and list its sources rather than saying, “we’re just not going to get into the details of exactly what happened…”

It’s another new low for the Democrats and their sycophants in the mainstream media.

In the news today…

-  It must take a non-thinking individual to believe some of the stuff that comes out of the mouth of liberals.  Obama and the Democrats want you to believe that Republicans support killing women, starving children, and forcing the elderly to choose between food and drugs.  Let’s think about this, don’t Republicans have children?  Aren’t there female Republicans?  Aren’t there Republicans who are elderly or those who have elderly parents?  Out on the campaign trail, Obama claimed that Republicans want dirtier water, dirty air, and… well, it’s the same liberal lies and scare tactics.

- Aside from Obama and a majority of Democrats, Occupy Wall Street gathered additional support from the likes of the Chinese Government, the Communist Party, Socialist Party of America, and the Nazi Party.  Occupy Wall Street is also supported by the AFL-CIO, SEIU, Al Gore, Van Jones, and most left wing special interest groups.

-  You can’t wear flag pins, you can’t celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas, and in some schools you can’t recite the pledge of allegiance… well, that’s unless it’s the Mexican pledge of allegiance.  As part of what teacher Reyna Santos claimed was Spanish class assignment, students were required to sing the Mexican National Anthem and recite the Mexican pledge of allegiance

-  In the latest Rasmussen Poll, Republican candidate Herman Cain edges out Obama 43% to 41%.  Desperate liberals are working hard to de-legitimize Herman Cain claiming that he’s not Black and leading the charge was CNN’s Martin Bashir who continued to attack Cain on Monday accusing the Republican presidential candidate of skipping the dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Monument in Washington, D.C., Saturday because he “really doesn’t want to be overtly associated with African-Americans”.

An interesting story today by Michael Goodwin in the New York Post.  According to Goodwin, he has heard from several people that Obama is becoming more reclusive.  Here are some of the highlights:

• President Obama has become a lone wolf, a stranger to his own government. He talks mostly, and sometimes only, to friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett and to David Axelrod, his political strategist.
• Everybody else, including members of his Cabinet, have little face time with him except for brief meetings that serve as photo ops. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner both have complained, according to people who have talked to them, that they are shut out of important decisions.
• The Obama’s workdays are said to end early, often at 4 p.m.
• Obama often retreats to his private study with briefing papers, however, some say they’re not sure what he does.

An article in the Washington Post today more or less confirms the story by the New York Post.

• This president endures with little joy the small talk and back-slapping of retail politics, rarely spends more than a few minutes on a rope line, refuses to coddle even his biggest donors. His relationship with Democrats on Capitol Hill is frosty, to be generous. Personal lobbying on behalf of legislation? He prefers to leave that to Vice President Biden, an old-school political charmer.

If you want my opinion, Obama has finally realized that his been lied to for the last 32 years.  Everything that he has been told and taught about Keynesian economics, Socialism, and Liberalism was wrong.  After nearly three years as President, he realized that those socialized programs don’t work.  Everything that he’s been taught and told about the economy hasn’t worked and he recognizes that he’s wasted so many years supporting a lie.  Further, Obama is such an egomaniac that it bothers him deeply now that members of his own party are running away from him.

It is sad to see such a precipitous decline of support and popularity, perhaps the greatest in US history, for a man who so many thought could do so much.  Fortunately, in just 15 months there will be a Republican President who will fix what Obama and his liberal ideology failed to.

In previous blogs I made note of how liberals fear Black Republicans.  Blacks moving to the Republican Party would destroy a base of support that liberals need to further push through their socialized programs. Too many Black Republicans winning national elections would expose the myth liberals have been so successful in propagandizing, that Republicans are anti-black.

In order to keep that myth alive, liberals will do everything in their power to destroy and marginalize Black Republicans.  They will use liberal Blacks in Congress and at various organizations to attack these black Republicans. They will create controversy and scandal where there was none- Judge Clarence Thomas nomination ring a bell.  Liberals fear what Black Republicans stand for- self-reliance, self-determination, and independence.

In previous months Herman Cain was not a threat to liberals, but as more and more polls confirm that he is now a top tier candidate with a high probability of being the Republican nominee, liberals have redirected their attention and attacks.

During the 1992 campaign, Democrats argued that Bill Clinton’s lack of military service should not prevent him from becoming the next Commander-in-Chief.  Even after it was revealed that Clinton dodged the Vietnam with the help of family and friends with political influence, Democrats insisted that military service should not be a prerequisite to be President.  Knowing this, one would find it odd that Herman Cain would be attacked by liberals who are offended that he did not serve in Vietnam.  In fact, Herman Cain made himself available for the draft and was serving his country working for the Department of the Navy in a critical role called exterior ballistic analysis.  Now some of you may be wondering how Herman Cain can be attacked by liberals for not serving in military uniform while the currently we have a liberal President who served as a community agitator organizer.  Look no further than Herman Cain’s political affiliation.  To liberals, he is the wrong type of black.

Liberals are attacking Herman Cain claiming he lacks experience.  That might sound rather amusing when you consider that the current liberal President’s resume includes 3 years as a community agitator organizer, time as “a civil rights attorney” and “professor”, an Illinois State Senator where he was known for voting present, and 4 years as a Senator- 2 of which he ran for President.  Juxtapose that “experience” to Herman Cain who worked at Department of the Navy as an analyst,  at Coca-Cola Company  as a computer systems analyst. for Pillsbury sd the director of analysis, managed 400 Burger King stores in the Philadelphia area where his region went in three years from the least profitable for Burger King to the most profitable CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, Purchase Godfather’s Pizza with a group of investors, became CEO of the National Restaurant Association, became a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1992 and then its chairman, and sat on the board of directors for Nabisco, Whirlpool, Reader’s Digest, and AGCO, Inc. In an economy struggling, one wonders how liberals could ignore Cain’s business acumen and experience.  Wonder no more- Herman Cain is a Black Republican.

So how else could liberals attack Herman Cain?  Well, attack him for what they feel is his lack of involvement during the civil rights movement.  After all, what makes an experience President is one who served as a community organizer and “civil rights” attorney.

As Herman Cain continues to earn success within the Republican Party, expect the attacks on his character and even on the color of his skin to intensify- and if you’re wondering why liberals can call anyone who attacks Obama on the issues a racist, while they themselves can attack Herman Cain on a personal level just remember that Herman Cain isn’t the right type of Black guy.

In today’s news…

A liberal consultant advising schools has suggested that teachers should censor the toy box and replace the witch’s pointy black hat with a pink one, while dressing fairies, generally resplendent in pale pastels, in darker shades. Another staple of the classroom – white paper – has also been questioned. Anne O’Connor, a former teacher, suggests children should be provided with paper other than white to drawn on and paints and crayons should come in “the full range of flesh tones”, reflecting the diversity of the human race, according to the former teacher.

Segueing nicely into our next topic, in today’s Gallup Poll nearly half of all Americans believe the federal government has become so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens. In 2003, less than a third (30%) believed this.  Liberals will see this as “a common problem with  many right wingers and that is their inability to see past their narrow-minded reaction to one thing and see” .

A reporter asked Republican Presidential Candidate Herman Cain about Obama’s comment, “it’s about math, not class warfare” and the mathematician and former CEO just about blew a blood vessel.  “Can I be blunt? That’s a lie,” Cain said.  “You’re not supposed to call the president a liar. Well if you’re not supposed to call the president a liar, he shouldn’t tell a lie. If it’s not class warfare, it’s highway robbery. He wants us to believe it’s not class warfare, oh okay, it’s not class warfare. Pick my pockets, because that’s what he’s doing!. . . . I’m listening to all this bullshit that he’s talking about, ‘fairness’ and ‘balanced approach’ to get this economy going.”

Herman Cain isn’t the only politician anger at Obama, Maxine Waters is furious over Obama’s comments to the Congressional Black Caucus last week.  Obama told the audience at the annual gala to “take off your bedroom slippers, put on your marching shoes. Shake it off. Stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying. We are going to press on. We’ve got work to do, CBC.” Water’s told reporters, ““… he never would say that to the gay and lesbian community who really pushed him on Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Or even in a speech to AIPAC, he would never say to the Jewish community ‘stop complaining’ about Israel.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was heckled several times at a town hall meeting by radical liberals in response to her vote for the “Satan sandwich” debt ceiling bill in Oakland, California.

Pelosi received the crowd’s wrath after touting that the Democrats were able to get no cuts in entitlements in the deal. However, this was still not enough.

“Sell-out!” … “Why did you vote for it?” … “You voted for that Satan sandwich!” were just some of the phrases that were yelled at Pelosi.  No word on whether the Minority Leader will refer to the vocal group of liberals as “Nazis” as she did with members of the Tea Party.

Despite Obama’s Organizing for America and millions of dollars from unions and outside groups, Republicans were able to hold onto the Wisconsin State Senate by winning 4 of the 6 recall elections.  Next week 2 Democrats are up for recall.

Liberals had hoped to win back the Wisconsin State Senate and use that momentum to take them into the 2012 general election, but those dreams were crushed tonight.

Voters made it clear tonight that they supported Republicans reigning in the unions, balancing the budget, and controlling runaway spending.  With no hopes of Democrats taking control of the Wisconsin State Senate, concern is now growing that a less enthused union backed voting block will not turn out to support the two Democrats facing recall next week- paving way for a Republican victory in those races.

This unfortunate recall episode instigated by the greedy unions added an unnecessary cost to the state of Wisconsin which is struggling to keep teachers, firefighters, and police on the job.  The only silver lining in all of this is that the Democrat union just flushed $30 million down the drain.

Congratulations to the Wisconsin Republicans.
