I read today that a senior aid to Senator Barbara Boxer was caught by Capitol Police with marijuana and I thought, “Is this shocking?”. I mean, aren’t most liberals high? Look at their economic policies. Look at their foreign policies. Listen to some of the drivel as they teach their nonsense in colleges and universities across the country- heck, I thought to get the label of “liberal” you either had to be high or your mind was already gone from all the partying you did at Woodstock.

Speaking about partying, I read that Michelle Antoinette had another party at the White House. This party featured dancers with “bump and grinding”. Just another display of Michelle Antoinette calling her subjects to perform for her and her court at the “palace”. Nothing like a Tuesday night of entertainment while the rest of America struggles to put food on the table.

Obama managed to set a milestone this week. In the first 19 months of his administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan. We can be thankful that Obama has been going through the budget “line by line” and eliminating any “wasteful spending” and “eliminating any duplicate programs or programs that don’t work” as he promised during the campaign. Can you imagine if he hadn’t?

There is more bad news for Liberals today. As if there weren’t enough already. Cuba’s Fidel Castro said today that the Cuban economic model doesn’t work. *Gasp*. Poor Harry Belfonte, Michael Moore, and Sean Penn. They must be having a breakdown hearing this. Jeffrey Goldberg, a liberal national correspondent for The Atlantic magazine, asked if Cuba’s economic system was still worth exporting to other countries, and Castro replied: “The Cuban model doesn’t even work for us anymore”. It only took a liberal like Castro 51 years to recognize that! Fortunately, it’s taken Americans only 19 months to see that liberalism is a failure.

The Obama administration is admitting failure of its Stimulus Bill today by proposing an additional $50 billion in more stimulus. The White House is claiming that this new stimulus economic package (they refuse to use the word stimulus) will go toward “shovel ready” jobs such as railroads, highways, airports, etc. Odd, because the $864 billion in last year’s Stimulus Bill was supposed to go toward that sort of thing.

Democrats have a lot to fear. New polling shows Republicans now lead Democrats by 12% in the latest Rasmussen Poll. That ties an all-time record for Republicans. Democrats and the unions are frustrated that their tactic of blaming Bush and Republicans for the failure of Obama’s and Democrats’ policies don’t seem to be working. Support from Independent voters and now Democrat voters have the establishment concerned.

In a recent AP article, they noted that Democrat Congressional candidates have been running from Pelosi, Reed, and Obama. In most cases, neither are mentioned in campaign ads. More interesting, Democrats are avoiding mentioning their own political affiliation.

Soon after the Health-care Bill was pushed through Congress and signed by Obama, Obama challenged Republicans to “run against health-care”, however, interestingly enough, it’s Democrats who are running from it. Most Democrats are failing to mention this “achievement” in any of their campaign ads recognizing that public support for the Bill is not there.

Support from the Liberals seems to be waning as evidence on the Sunday talk shows. New York Times columnist and Democrat puppet Tom Friedman on Sunday accused Barack Obama of badly misreading his Election Day mandate, and said the current White House is the worst communicating administration he’s ever seen.

Friedman blasted the President saying, “I’m for more health care. I’m glad we’ve extended it to more Americans. But the fact is there’s a real, I think, argument for the case that Obama completely over-read his mandate when he came in.”

Friedman continued, “He was elected to get rid of one man’s job, George Bush, and get the rest of us jobs. I think that was the core thing, and by starting with health care and not making his first year the year of innovation, expanding the economy and expanding jobs, you know, I think looking back, that was a political mistake.”

In reality, I don’t believe that this President or this Democrat Congress really wanted to create jobs. I believe it was their theory that with more people unemployed more people would join the unions. I can hear some of my liberal readers now, “he’s nuts”, but… on Saturday the New York Times reported that Anna Burger, chairwoman of Change to Win, a federation representing 5 million union and secretary-treasurer of the powerful Service Employees International Union is retiring out of frustration. Anna Burger is reported as saying that she is also frustrated that union membership continues to shrink even when workers should in theory be flocking into unions during this time of stagnating wages.

It’s time for Obama and the Democrats to pack up their bags and leave the work of getting this economy going again to the adults and to those who put the country and the people before the government and the unions.

I wish I had better news to report on Obama’s ‘Recovery Summer’, however, this morning it was reported that unemployment rose to 9.6%. US employers cut 67,000 jobs in August despite claims by the Obama administration that we would be adding 250,000 jobs per month. This is further evidence that Obama’s economic policies are not working and that the Stimulus Bill has failed.

The Wall Street Journal Reports:

Job losses continued to mount in the U.S. economy last month, though at a more modest pace than expected, putting further pressure on policy makers to take action to spur growth and employment.

Nonfarm payrolls fell by 54,000 last month, matching the level of revised losses recorded the previous month, the U.S. Labor Department said Friday. The revision in July layoffs to 54,000 followed an original estimate of a 131,000 drop in payrolls.

The U.S. economy has shed jobs for three straight months, though the losses in August were about half the 110,000 predicted by economists in a Dow Jones Newswires survey.

The unemployment rate, calculated using a separate household survey, edged up to 9.6%, as expected, after holding at 9.5% for previous two months.

The report is likely to cause renewed debate during the long Labor Day weekend over what new steps the Federal Reserve and Congress should consider to jump-start the job market.

CBS reported that 87,000 people attended Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally. Yes, 87,000! If you ever wanted evidence of media bias, that’s a perfect example. Of course many of us knew that there would be liberal outlets who would claim that there was less than the anticipated 100,000 no matter how great the number. Look at the pictures above and you be the judge. Of course liberals would love to tell you that your eyes are lying just like they infer how your ears lie when told the truth. Ask yourself, if the liberal media will lie about attendance numbers, what else do they lie about?

ABC News couldn’t completely lie. No, instead they reported that “thousands” attended. Not “tens of thousands” or “hundreds of thousands”, simply “thousands”.

Liberals would also want you to believe that this was a “white rally”, but the black speakers at the rally will tell you otherwise. It is not the fault of Glenn Beck or the organizers of “Restoring Honor” if Blacks chose to give into liberal intimidation or succumbed to the liberal propaganda machine and stayed home. It’s been reported that Al Sharpton was only able to draw a crowd of a mere 2,000-3,000 people, most of whom were Black.

The reporting by the liberal media illustrates just how low and unreliable they are and have become. They are nothing more than an extended mouthpiece for the Democrat Party- failing to report the Democrats’ unethical behavior, their breaking of campaign promises, the true cost of health-care, the failure of the Stimulus, the full suffering of the economy, the failure in Afghanistan, the failure of Obama’s foreign policy, his inability to broker an embargo on Iran and North Korea, and much more. The Democrat Party have failed the American people and so have the media.

Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” Rally

Barack Obama Inauguration

Lastly, if you ever wanted a more visual display of the differences between how liberals behave and how the rest of America behaves, look at the videos above. There’s no more accurate visual illustration between those who have person responsibility and those who expect others to clean up the mess that they themselves have created.

Have you heard of Khuram Sher? He was part of an Ottawa-based terrorist cell with international connections which was only “months” away from exploding bombs on Canadian soil? He also auditioned for Canadian Idol. Liberals like to convince us that these Muslim terrorist are targeting Americans because, well, we’re evil… ok, let me be a little more precise- our “policies” are evil. Well, that hasn’t stopped these Muslim terrorist from bombing the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and now an attempted bombing of Canada. See, with liberals its always about America being to blame.

Of course the excuse will be that these countries have become targets because they are American allies. Well, what that tells me is that this must be a war. Yes, yes I know that Obama has done away with the phrase “War on Terror”, after all, we wouldn’t want to offend the sensibilities of terrorists, but the truth of the matter is that these Muslim terrorist see this as a war and are going to continue to fight. No amount of placating, acquiescing, and apologizing will halt their goal of expanding Sharia Law and Islam.

And for those who say that certain government officials can’t be lying about their faith because of how they live their life, Khuram Sher proves that you can be a Muslim and subscribe to the tenants of the Koran while pretending to be someone or something you’re not. Somehow I don’t think Avil Lavigne and break dancing fit into the Muslim faith.

Finally some journalism from the AP. Maybe they’ve final tired of the BS that the Obama Adminstration has been touting about the Stimulus Bill.

FRESNO, Calif. — Vice President Joe Biden said this week that the Obama administration “hit the accelerator” toward spending $5 billion under the economic stimulus law to weatherize people’s homes, create thousands of jobs, help consumers save money and put the nation on track for energy independence.

Yet the weatherization program the vice president highlighted in his visit Thursday to New Hampshire is widely considered among the least organized spending projects under the $814 billion economic stimulus law and has regularly been targeted for criticism of its slow progress by auditors and outsiders. Biden didn’t hint much at its troubles.

Nearly 18 months since it started, the stimulus weatherization program has experienced spending delays, inefficiencies and mismanagement. In Biden’s home state of Delaware, the entire program has been suspended since May, and last month federal auditors identified possible fraud.

In his visit to Manchester, N.H., Biden said the program already had retrofitted 200,000 homes and would meet its ambitious goals of nearly 600,000 homes by March 2012.

He called it “one of our signature programs” under the stimulus law, saying that “thousands of construction workers across the country are now on the job making energy-saving home improvements that will save working families hundreds of dollars a year on their utility bills.”

What Biden failed to mention:

_In Alaska, the program has yet to retrofit one home.

_In Texas, auditors found the private contractor earning the most in stimulus money did shoddy work on 60 percent of the houses it was hired to weatherize.

_In California, a contracting company paid nearly $3 million to caulk low-income residents’ homes didn’t train two dozen of its employees, the state’s inspector general found last week.

Again I ask, do we really want government to run our health care? They’re ineffective, inefficient, and there’s always fraud involved costing taxpayers millions.

I’ve been going through the news the last few days and I can’t help, but get more depressed as I see the “Recovery Summer” evaporate- that’s if you really ever bought into the spin that we were in a recovery. In a way, I am pleased that Obama, Biden, and Company were propagandizing that they saved the economy by passing their Stimulus Bill and that the economy was in recovery, because now they have to take ownership of the collapsing economy. Any yes, the economy is collapsing. Take a look at some of the latest headlines:

1. WIRE: It's starting to feel like another recession.

Ronald Reagan was famous for asking, “are you better off today than you were four years ago” and clearly for many Americans that answer is no and it probably explains why former President Bush’s approval ratings have been rising while Obama’s continues to slide. It might also explain why in the latest Rasmussen Poll, Republicans now lead in all 10 important issues tracked. More and more I am hearing of “buyers’ remorse” from friends, co-workers, and everyday people regarding Obama and the Democrats. Clearly, they have recognized that things were much better four years ago.

You’ve seen the polls- 20% of Americans now believe that Obama is a Muslim. That’s up from 12%. So what does Obama and his handlers do to convince the 20% that he’s a Christian? Well, they send him golfing on a Sunday with some of his Chicago friends.

Inside track writes:

Now you’d think, with polls showing that one in five Americans believe Obama is a Muslim – and with the furor over the president’s flip-flops on the Ground Zero mosque – that his White House handlers might have orchestrated a nice little photo op of the first family doing a little vacation worshiping yesterday morning.

Because, despite the administration’s insistence that Barry is a Christian and that he prays daily, most Americans have noticed that Obama rarely attends church. That’s a noticeable departure from previous presidents, such as George W. Bush and Clinton, who were on their knees every Sunday.

Of course, the last time Obama had a regular church, it was Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright fame, and, well, we all know how that turned out.

The president’s handlers have said Obama doesn’t attend services regularly because he doesn’t want to be “hugely disruptive to congregations.” This is apparently not an issue on the golf course. Especially now that the Secret Service is following the boss in golf carts instead of those giant SUVs they drove down the fairways last year!

Let’s face it, the only reason why Obama attended church was to build himself credibility with the Black community and to give himself some cover. He knew that America was not ready to vote for a Muslim so he attended a radical Black church which denounced Jews and Whites and blamed America for the ills of the world. This was the type of “Christian” church he could actually tolerate.

It’s time that Barack Hussein Obama be proud of who and what he is and stop hiding.

I was reading through the comments and came across one of my readers who was distraught that I spent so much time talking about Democrats and Obama and never mentioning Clay Aiken. For those who are unaware, my career as a blogger was instigated by Claymates who were upset with me for outing Clay Aiken. To placate that reader while not ostracizing those who enjoy the daily dose of politics, tonight I’ll write about both Clay and Obama.

There are so many similarities between Barack and Clay. Both are Democrats. Both can’t be trusted to keep their word. Both say one thing, but do another. Both lie with ease. Both authored books filled with half-truths and exaggerations. Both have a difficult time with keeping stories consistent. Both make up eventsor scenarios to garner support or sympathy. Both are constantly asking for money and/or donations. Both put down others to boost up themselves. Both pretend to be someone that they’re not. Both can contradict themselves in the same sentence. Both love to talk. Both are very arrogant. Both are untrustworthy. Both have an elevated opinion of themselves. Both do not like reporters who ask difficult or probing questions. Both dislike Fox News…

I don’t think I need to go on.

Remember, according to the Obama administration this is “Recovery Summer”. Jobless claims rose to 500,000 claims- the highest in 9 months. Analyst had predicted jobless claims to come in at 476,000. The latest jobless figures spooked Wall Street and the Dow fell more than 140 points. Economist now believe that a double dip recession is more likely… That’s no surprise to Republicans who have been warning that Obama’s economic policies and Stimulus Bill would lead us into a double-dip recession.

The Congressional Budget Office, CBO, is predicting more tough times ahead. Manufacturing activity in the Mid-Atlantic region contracted surprising economist. Also in the CBO report, the deficit will exceed $1 trillion for fiscal 2011 due to the worsening economic outlook. Under Obama, the deficit accounted for nearly 10% of the GDP.

If you thought that the bad news ended there, you’re wrong. Bankruptcies hit a record high last month while the housing market suffered another month of declining sales. Remember, the stimulus work to save the economy and we are in “Recovery Summer”.

Obama was unavailable to comment on the jobs report, the CBO report, or the the report on the record number of bankruptcy as he was enjoying his sixth vacation of the year in Martha’s Vineyard with his wife and daughter who just returned from vacationing in Spain.
